WOODINVILLE, Wash. – February 6, 2024 – Sportworks Global LLC (Sportworks) announces the release of a new bike parking rack specially designed for parking e-bikes and e-scooters. The Tofino™ E-Rack features two integrated charging outlets and Sportworks’ unique No Scratch® bumper – to keep bicycles free of damage and scratches. Optimized for easy installation and simple electrical connection, the Tofino E-Rack offers the fastest deployment of e-bike charging racks and is easy for cyclists to use.
Designed with safety and security in mind, the horizontal rack is compatible with U-locks to secure both the wheel and frame of the bicycle – compliant with APBP standards to prevent theft. The rectangular cross-section of the rack is vandal-resistant, further enhancing theft prevention. UL-listed electrical outlets on the rack frame keep charging cables close to the bicycle, supporting organized parking.

The Tofino E-Rack is available in a variety of materials and finishes and an ADA-compliant version that features a cane-detectable cross bar – recommended for use in pedestrian circulation paths. Each horizontal rack supports two bikes and features IP54-rated outlets, and can therefore be installed in any indoor area, or covered exterior areas when protected from direct weather elements. With a conduit fitting included and easy access to grounding, the rack can be easily connected after the rack is installed and secured, with no re-bolting required.
